The 2nd National Meeting on China Graphene Standardization: Workshop on Preparation of Four Graphene Standardizations was held in Shanghai on Dec. 26-27, 2015, which was organized by China Innovation Alliance of the Graphene Industry (Graphene Research and Characterization Center in Taizhou). Based on the outstanding academic achievements on synthesis and application explorations of graphene-based materials in the past years, Professor Zhong-Shuai Wu was honored as the member of China Graphene Standardization Committee, announced by the CGSC Secretary, Dr. Legend Liang.

The CGSC is aiming to provide the standard documents for the various performance index and quality requirements of graphene material products. The goal of this committee is to create an advanced database of the standardization on graphene properties, preparation methods and testing methods, and explore how to carry out preliminary research of standard, how to develop graphene allied, industrial, and international standard systems and effectively promote graphene manufacturing and commercialization. In this meeting, the experts from graphene academic and industrial organizations also shared their latest view on standardization establishment progress, technical innovation, various application and commercial roadmap in China.
